Eugenie Myrtilla Taylor Turnor was the daughter of Michael Turnor and Sarah Ann Taylor.

Eugenie was born on Sunday 6 April 1856 in Aston, Birmingham, Warwickshire.

She was christened on Monday 12 August 1861 at Shirley, near Birmingham.

Eugenie married William Henry Hemming in 1890 in St Asaph's Church.

She had the following children from her marriage to William Henry Hemming:

- Doris Hemming	born around 1892 in Birmingham, Warwickshire.
- Leslie Hemming	born around 1894 in Birmingham, Warwickshire.
