Matthew James (Matt) Thomas is the son of Roger Nicholas Hedley Thomas and Margaret Cundall.

Matt was born in 1976 (date suppressed) in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, and then returned to his parents home.

Matt is a Payroll Administrator.

Matt started school at the Blue Coat School in Harborne at the age of 5 and studied there between 1981 and 1988.    He then studied at Bishop Vesey's Grammar School between 1988 and 1994.    Matt then went to the University of the West of England in Bristol where he studied for a degree in Business Studies with Combined Science.    He spent three years there before he came back to live in Birmingham, where he did one year of a tourism degree.

Matthew started work with the Focus Housing Group in 1999, doing general finance and admin work.

He would like to travel and see more of the World.    His main places of interest to visit would be Egypt and Mexico because of his interests in these countries.    His interests are music and reading, which is mainly ancient history and also contemporary fiction.    He enjoys skiing, tennis and squash.
