Penelope Stokes was the daughter of Edward Stokes and Priscilla Spittle.

Penelope was born around 1780.

She was christened on Thursday 6 April 1780 at St Bartholomew's Church, Wednesbury, Staffordshire.

Penelope married John Holberry on Monday 28 April 1800 in St Peter's Church, Wolverhampton, Staffordshire.

Details of Penelope's death are not known.
