John William Chatterton was born around 1886.

John married Kate Florence Hale on Saturday 28 October 1911.

He had the following children from his marriage to Kate Florence Hale:

- Audrey Joan Chatterton	born on 15 January 1914.
- Delia Constance Chatterton	born on 23 June 1915.

Details of John's occupation are not known.

John died when he was about 80 years old, on Monday 26 September 1966.
